To us, September always means a time of intensive traveling to trade fairs and announcing our new products. It was no different this year. Read our short summary of that crazy month that had us – literally – “standing on our heads” to make sure that everything was all set to go :).

We’ll remember September 2018 as a demanding time full of trips and extraordinary situations. We were present at a number of major events all over the continent: places we went to included Poland, Austria, France and sunny (sometimes even unbearably hot) Spain. We had many interesting conversations with direct and end clients who had the chance to get to know our brand new products.

Hot premieres

The main attraction during the September events were the new releases – shiny gold and silver Verona-line bindings and colour-matching accessories. At Premium Sourcing in Paris (where we showed the world our “golden children” for the first time), many exhibitors presented similarly coloured products. This is proof enough that the Mindnotes brand fits worldwide trends most splendidly. While at it, we can disclose that one of the results of the Paris trade fair will include new gadgets, which we intend to employ in marketing efforts for our brands – like gold and silver pencils and bags that we’ve spied among their producers.

Our purpose in Vienna was to visit the InfoDay 2018 event, organised by the Kolibri company. On the Danube, great interest was sparked by the debut of MNC – which are customisable notebooks with prefabricated blocks. The appreciation, recognition and interest that we experienced when presenting MNC confirmed our assumptions – that solid and simple solutions work the best and always find an audience.

Siege stand

Festiwal Marketingu in Warsaw was particularly lavish this year. The 10th anniversary of the event and 15th of the organiser – OOH Magazine – attracted many guests and exhibitors to the capital of Poland, who had become integrated both during the two-day trade fair and the subsequent afterparty… You could say – OOH, how fun it was. A gallery with photos can be viewed here.

In Paris and Warsaw, calligraphers Grzegorz Barasiński and Jacek Pacholski worked hard at our booth. Thanks to them, our stands were breaking records of popularity – we signed nearly 700 notes on both events!

To conclude, a few words of acknowledgement. The organisation and handling of so many stands at so many events requires a lot of work and commitment – a heartfelt thanks to the entire team! But now it’s time to make more travel arrangements… Perhaps to another continent? Who knows?
